First of all, I have to apologize for posting so far after my last. I've been trying to work out the kinks with Box.net but it appears they are no longer in business so my song sharing was put on hold.
It has finally arrived!! The new Kings of Leon came not a moment too soon. I was beginning to suffer from the lack of new music. Because of the Times was on my top 5 albums of the year in 06 and the new one definitely does not disappoint. Caleb is singing here a little more and the songs are a bit more generic but still have that unique KOL vibe. They play incredibly well live and if you'd like to check them out they played last night on Letterman. Youtube has a great version of it. It's going to take something really huge at year end to Knock the kings of the pedestal. Listen, love it, please let me know what you think....

While listening to this album in my salon today, one of my clients asked "who in the world I was listening too?" It wasn't a compliment, so I nonchalantly left in on and made her listen to most the album. I love it.
HEY!!! You KNOW that you are my music-tutor-for-life and you don't even tell me about your "Matt's Song of the Week" blog?!?! That's a low blow sir, a low blow. Anyway, I really like the track. It's upbeat + mellow.
Are you really going to make us wait a whole month till your next post? I think you're going to have to change the name if you don't blog at least twice a month - and you're due! Let's see some action!

I came accross the new Kings of Leon Album before I read your blog, so I can't really say you turned me on to them, but I am glad I found them. They are one of my new favorite bands.
I'm glad their one of your new favorites. I'll have to get you their one right before this last. It is equally as good.
